Postgraduate Scholarships

Post Graduate scholarships are open to full time and part time (a minimum of half time) students undertaking a postgraduate program deemed eligible by the Managing Trustees. Applicants will normally have an undergraduate award in an eligible program in Home Economics or equivalent. Awards are made for a one year approved study program and scholarship holders may apply annually for awards for up to a total of three years of full time study. The post graduate program may be at an overseas tertiary institution if the equivalent program is not available in Australia. The full time scholarship is currently valued at $7500, half that amount for part time study.

An eligible postgraduate program (Category 2 Scholarship) must lead to a specific qualification and must be categorised as postgraduate by the relevant Commonwealth authority. The applicant must have either:

• an undergraduate qualification which meets all the undergraduate scholarship criteria and a postgraduate program proposal which meets one or more of the undergraduate program criteria;
  or
• an undergraduate qualification which meets one or more of the undergraduate scholarship criteria and a postgraduate program proposal which meets all of the undergraduate program criteria.
