King & Amy O樽alley Trust awards annual undergraduate and postgraduate scholarships for students applying for or enrolled in tertiary Home Economics or equivalent programs, such as Consumer Science, Family and Consumer Studies.
Scholarship selection criteria is based on:
- academic performance;
- professional goals in Home Economics;
- personal and leadership attributes;
- potential to contribute to the Home Economics profession.
The O樽alley Trust uses the Home Economics Institute of Australia definitions of Home Economics: 'The focus of Home Economics is empowering individuals and families to make informed and ethical choices to enhance their own and others' well-being in everyday living in households and families.'
Applications must be made on the Application Form to be found on this website. It must be printed, completed, signed and sent by post to reach the O'Malley Trust, PO Box 2047, Mt Waverley, 3149, by 5pm on the last Friday in June of each year. Read instructions carefully.
